We tested a number of different options, but the main thing we found for ease of use was a cordless option. Cordless allows you to easily maneuver around your entire place, and most modern vacuums can go weeks on a single charge if you’re using them on a normal schedule.
The best option was clear, but a bit on the pricier side, so we broke down our top three options (all available on Amazon!).

Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal:
The Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal is far and away the best option. It works like an absolute dream, covering all surfaces without being too loud. It can deep clean a carpet, glide over hardwood, and maneuver into low and hard-to-reach places.
It’s definitely on the pricier side at $534.99, but dollar for dollar it was easily the best vacuum we tried.
Emptying the cylinder is so simple, and it’s extremely satisfying to see all the dirt and dust and gunk gather up near the handle. We were shocked how much fuzz came out of our carpet!
If you’re looking to upgrade your vacuum and ready to invest, the Cyclone V10 is worth every penny.
Hoover ONEPWR Blade MAX:
The Hoover ONEPWR Blade MAX is a close second to the Dyson in terms of agility and power, and it does it all for the lower price of $299.99!
It maneuvers well and covers all surfaces easily, no matter what kinds of messes you’re dealing with. It’s a bit louder than the Dyson, and the charge time is a bit less as well, but overall it’s a durable, reliable option.
It may sound silly, but not being able to see the dirt and fuzz come up gives the edge to Dyson, but overall the Hoover is a workhorse that simply gets the job done.
ORFELD 24000Pa:
The ORFELD 24000Pa is a strong third option. It’s available on Amazon for just $143.95!
It’s a bit bulkier than the other two, though it’s still quite slim. The charge time is solid at 50 minutes runtime so it’ll be ready whenever you are.
It uses an advanced brushless motor, which produces 24000Pa powerful suction in MAX mode, which can immediately and thoroughly clean hardwood floors, medium pile carpets, marble floors, sofas, stairs, curtains, cars, and narrow areas. It’s a solid option that’s a bit more affordable.
